Liquid sodium Silicate

Generally called "water glass" and colorless transparent liquid that chemical formula is consist of. Sodium silicate becomes near water case of dilute excess and if amount of alkali decreases. It is seen property of silica gel or colloidal silica. In contrary, if amount of water decrease, it is approach in anhydrous glass property and if quantity of alkali increases,it is seen property of NaOH. Therefore, sodium silicate is applied in several fields because various characteristic appears that uses this according to mole ratio of and concentration.
